HetMoet celebrates International Women's Day

Uitgeverij HetMoet viert Internationale Vrouwendag met auteurs van HetMoet én The New Menard Press. Het literaire programma bestaat uit Sam Mills (auteur van o.a. Schijnfeminisme), Alvina Chamberland (auteur van Love the World or Get Killed Trying), Jameisha Prescod (fillmmaker en auteur van 'Rest in Peace' en 'East London was van ons') en Babs Gons (Dichter des Vaderlands en auteur voor Over ziek zijn).

Feministisch auteur, criticus en journalist Tessel ten Zweege gaat met de auteurs in gesprek over vrouw-zijn en het vrouwelijk lichaam in hun werk. Het programma wordt gehost in het Engels!

Gedurende de avond presenteren we, in samenwerking met acht feministische kunstenaars (v/x) van Treehouse, een grote kunstexpositie. Velen van hen verkopen hun werk.

DJ Glitter Eva draait haar beste dansbare tunes.

HetMoet Publishing celebrates International Women's Day with authors from HetMoet as well as The New Menard Press. The literary program consists of Sam Mills (author of Chauvo Feminism/Schijnfeminisme), Alvina Chamberland (author of Love the World or Get Killed Trying), Jameisha Prescod (fillmmaker and author of 'Rest in Peace' and 'East London was ours') and Babs Gons (Poet Laureate and author for our recent On Being Ill).

Feminist author, critic and journalist Tessel ten Zweege will join the authors in conversation about womanhood and the female body in their literary and poetic work. The program will be hosted in English!

During the evening, in collaboration with eight feminist artists (f/x) from Treehouse, we will present a shared art exhibition. Many of them are selling their work as well!

DJ Glitter Eva will spin her best danceable tunes.
